Compliance and Quality Assurance

Our reputation for quality is important to us. We benchmark our service delivery to the highest level by ensuring our carer’s are well trained and supported when providing care.

As part of our quality assurance process, we undertake regular service user surveys to monitor the effectiveness of our care and support.  You and your loved ones will have at least 3 formal opportunities to provide feedback on the care that you receive; the first one will be around 6-weeks of the care starting, the second will be in 6-months’ time and the third survey will be at the 12-months interval.  Of course, service users will be able to comment on their service at any time by contacting the office and during ongoing discussions with carers.

We have systems in place to conduct quality assurance audits in areas such as service delivery, procedures and complaints.

Optimum Care Ltd operates within an open and transparent culture and is happy to provide additional information including copies of any policies and procedures at the request of service users for their information.

A robust recruitment process;  We recruit and train the best calibre of staff by providing comprehensive induction and training along with job satisfaction and prospects.  In addition, detailed background checks are carried out for all staff to ensure we are fully compliant with regulatory requirements.

Monitoring and Evaluation Systems; we monitor our care provision via regular spot checks and formal surveys, staff performance reviews and ongoing training and supervision.

Staff appraisals; we carry out appraisals with staff regularly to discuss their performance and to plan their future development.

All staff are required to participate in mandatory training to carry out their role.  In addition to this, they are actively encouraged to seek relevant training and qualifications to further their career.
